1. Introduction
Goscored ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data with transparency, integrity, and respect. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights regarding your data when you use the Goscored App ("App").
This Policy applies to all users of the Goscored App globally. Where regional privacy laws apply (such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area, CCPA in California, or PDPA in applicable Asian jurisdictions), we honour those additional rights and obligations.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please discontinue use of the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Your email address, collected at the time of registration for the purpose of authentication via OTP;
- Photos: Photographs you voluntarily upload to the App for analysis;
- Usage Context: Your selected context for photo use (Business, Dating, or Social), which directly informs our analysis algorithm;
- Reply Generator Inputs: Screenshots and photographs you voluntarily upload to the Reply Generator feature for the purpose of receiving AI-generated reply suggestions, conversation openers, or pick-up lines. These uploads may contain message text, profile content, images, names, usernames, profile photos, and other information visible within the screenshot;
- AI Dating Coach Inputs: Text messages, prompts, and any other content you voluntarily submit through the AI Dating Coach chat interface. Such content may include personal information that you choose to share, such as details about your dating life, preferences, experiences, or interactions with others;
- Payment Information: Billing details required to process your subscription. Payment transactions are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card data.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and Technical Data: Device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and unique device identifiers;
- Usage Data: Features accessed, frequency and duration of use, interaction patterns within the App;
- Log Data: Server logs including timestamps, error reports, and crash diagnostics;
- Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymised data collected through analytics tools to understand user behaviour and improve the App.
2.3 Sensitive Data and Third-Party Content
Photos uploaded to Goscored may contain or reveal sensitive information, including biometric data and physical characteristics. We process this data solely to deliver the analysis service you requested. We do not use uploaded photos for facial recognition, identity verification, or any purpose beyond the score and recommendation outputs described in our Terms of Use.
Screenshots uploaded to the Reply Generator may contain personal data relating to third parties who are not users of Goscored (for example, the other participant in a messaging conversation), including their names, usernames, profile photos, and message content. By uploading such content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to do so. We process this content solely to generate the reply suggestions you have requested and do not use it to build profiles of any third party.
Messages submitted to the AI Dating Coach are text-based inputs that you control. You should avoid sharing highly sensitive personal information — including, without limitation, government identifiers, payment card details, passwords, precise location data, or health information — through the chat interface, as such information is not necessary to receive coaching responses.
Goscored does not knowingly request, and you should not provide, special-category personal data (such as data concerning health, sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, or racial or ethnic origin) through the App except to the limited extent inherent in photographs you choose to submit. Where such data is processed, we do so on the basis of your explicit consent as described in Section 4.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: To process your uploaded photos, screenshots, and chat messages; to generate scores, recommendations, suggested replies, pick-up lines, and AI Dating Coach responses; and to present results within the App;
- Authentication: To verify your identity via OTP during login;
- Subscription Management: To process payments, manage your subscription, and send billing-related communications;
- Personalisation and Continuity: To maintain a history of your interactions with the Reply Generator and AI Dating Coach within your account, so that you can review past suggestions and continue prior conversations;
- App Improvement: To analyse aggregated and anonymised usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve the performance and features of the App;
- Communications: To send transactional emails (OTPs, subscription confirmations, policy updates) and, where you have opted in, promotional communications;
- Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes;
- Safety and Security: To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, prohibited content, and security incidents, including the enforcement of our Acceptable Use Policy.
We do not use your photos, screenshots, chat messages, or analysis results for advertising purposes, nor do we sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your uploaded content, generated outputs, or chat messages to train, retrain, or fine-tune AI models — please see Section 13 for further detail.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
For users in jurisdictions requiring a legal basis for data processing (including the EEA and UK), we process your data under the following bases:
- Contractual Necessity: Processing required to deliver the App services you have subscribed to, including photo analysis, reply generation, and AI Dating Coach interactions;
- Legitimate Interests: Improving App performance, ensuring security, and preventing abuse;
- Consent: Where you have opted in to marketing communications, where you have provided explicit consent for AI processing of your submissions, or where processing of sensitive data requires explicit consent;
- Legal Obligation: Where we are required to process data to comply with applicable laws.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
5.1 Service Providers
We engage trusted third-party service providers to support our operations, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, email delivery services, and analytics platforms. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to process your data only as instructed by us and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
5.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information where required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Goscored, our users, or the public.
5.3 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users and provide options where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:
- Account Data (email address): Retained for the duration of your account and for up to 12 months following account deletion, for legal and audit purposes;
- Uploaded Photos: Retained for a maximum of 30 days following analysis, after which they are permanently deleted from our servers unless you have saved them in your account history;
- Reply Generator Uploads (Screenshots and Photos): Retained for a maximum of 30 days following submission to allow you to review or regenerate suggestions, after which they are permanently deleted from our servers. You may delete individual uploads earlier through the App's controls;
- AI Dating Coach Conversation History: Retained within your account for the duration of your subscription to allow continuity of conversations, unless you delete a conversation or your account. Deleted conversations are permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days, subject to backup cycles described below;
- Generated Outputs (Scores, Replies, Coaching Responses): Retained within your account for the duration of your subscription, unless you delete them earlier;
- Payment Records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by financial and tax regulations;
- Log and Diagnostic Data: Retained for up to 90 days;
- Backups: Encrypted backups may retain copies of deleted data for a short rolling window (typically up to 35 days) before being overwritten in the ordinary course.
You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations (see Section 8).
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS (Transport Layer Security);
- Encryption of stored photos, screenshots, chat content, and other sensitive data at rest;
- Access controls restricting data access to authorised personnel only;
- Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments;
- OTP-based authentication to prevent unauthorised account access;
- Logical separation and access controls applied to AI feature data (photos, screenshots, chat content).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations);
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances;
- Right to Data Portability: Receive your personal data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing;
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing;
- Right to Lodge a Complaint: File a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How to Revoke Consent: You may withdraw your consent to data processing at any time using any of the following methods: (a) Setting in App; (b) by emailing support@goscored.com with the subject line "Withdraw Consent" and specifying the processing activity you wish to withdraw consent from; or (c) by deleting your account (see Section 10 of our Terms of Use for the account deletion process). Upon receipt of a valid withdrawal request, we will cease the relevant processing as soon as reasonably practicable and notify you of the actions taken. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Goscored App may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance user experience, remember preferences, and gather analytics data. You may control cookie preferences through your device or browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect App functionality. We do not use tracking technologies for cross-site advertising.
10. International Data Transfers
Goscored operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by relevant authorities, or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms.
11. Children's Privacy
Goscored is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a person under 18, we will promptly delete such data.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-App notification at least 14 days prior to the changes taking effect. The updated Policy will display the revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
13. AI Processing and Data Disclosure
Goscored uses artificial intelligence to deliver three core AI-powered features: (a) photo analysis and scoring; (b) the Reply Generator, which produces suggested replies, openers, and pick-up lines based on screenshots or photos you upload; and (c) the AI Dating Coach, which responds to text messages you submit through an in-App chat interface. This section identifies the third-party providers involved and explains how your data is handled in connection with each feature.
13.1 Third-Party AI Service Provider
Goscored uses the Google Gemini API (provided by Google LLC) as its third-party AI processor for photo analysis, Reply Generator outputs, and AI Dating Coach responses. When you use any of these features, the relevant submission — your photograph, your screenshot or photo input to the Reply Generator, or your text messages to the AI Dating Coach — is transmitted securely to Google's servers for the sole purpose of generating the requested output. We have verified that Google provides data protections and security measures equal to or greater than those outlined in this Privacy Policy. If we change our third-party AI service provider, or add additional providers, we will update this section accordingly.
13.2 Data Transmitted for Each Feature
The following data is transmitted to our third-party AI service provider, depending on the feature you use:
- Photo Analysis: Your uploaded photograph, technical image metadata (such as format and resolution), and the analysis context you select (Dating, Business, or Social);
- Reply Generator: The screenshot or photograph you upload (including any visible text, message threads, profile content, names, usernames, profile photos, and other information contained within the image), and any contextual selections you make within the feature;
- AI Dating Coach: The text messages you send through the chat interface, and the recent prior messages in that conversation that are necessary to provide a contextual, coherent response.
We do not transmit your name, email address, account credentials, payment details, or other directly identifying account data to the third-party AI service provider in connection with the operation of these features.
13.3 No Use of Data for AI Training
We maintain a strict "No Training" policy to protect your privacy:
- Your Photos: Neither Goscored nor our third-party provider, Google, uses your uploaded photographs to train, retrain, or improve AI models.
- Your Screenshots and Reply Generator Uploads: Neither Goscored nor our third-party provider uses your screenshots, uploaded images, or the AI-generated reply suggestions produced for you to train, retrain, or improve AI models.
- Your AI Dating Coach Messages: Neither Goscored nor our third-party provider uses your AI Dating Coach messages, or the responses generated by the coach, to train, retrain, or improve AI models.
- Data Retention by AI Provider: Your submissions are processed by the third-party AI service provider to generate the requested output and are not retained by that provider for any purpose other than fulfilling the immediate request, subject to short-term processing logs maintained by the provider for abuse prevention.
13.4 Explicit User Consent
Before any photo, screenshot, or chat message is sent to the third-party AI service, Goscored requires your explicit permission. Consent is obtained within the App interface at the time you first use each AI-powered feature (photo analysis, Reply Generator, or AI Dating Coach). You may withdraw your consent at any time by choosing not to use the relevant feature or by following the consent-withdrawal process described in Section 8; however, the App cannot provide photo scoring, reply suggestions, or AI Dating Coach responses without this processing.
13.5 Information Voluntarily Shared in Chat
When you use the AI Dating Coach, you control what information you choose to share. We strongly recommend that you do not share highly sensitive personal information through the chat interface, including government-issued identifiers, payment-card details, passwords, precise location data, health information, or information that could identify other people without their knowledge or consent. Information you choose to include in chat messages will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
13.6 Third-Party Data in Screenshots
Screenshots uploaded to the Reply Generator may contain personal data of other individuals (for example, the other participant in a conversation). Goscored processes this data solely to generate the reply suggestions you request, and not to build profiles of, identify, or otherwise process the data of those third parties for any independent purpose. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to upload such content, as described in our Terms of Use. If you believe a screenshot containing your personal data has been uploaded to Goscored without your consent, you may contact us at support@goscored.com.
13.7 Limitations of AI Output
AI-generated scores, suggested replies, pick-up lines, and coaching responses are probabilistic outputs based on statistical modelling and do not constitute objective or definitive measurements, assessments, or advice regarding any individual or situation. Results should be interpreted as a single data point for entertainment and self-improvement purposes only. AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unsuited to your particular context, and you should review it critically before acting on it.
